由國際老年精神醫學會（International Psychogeriatric Association, IPA）所授權台灣老年精神醫學會（Taiwanese Society of Geriatric Psychiatry）主辦之【2016國際老年精神醫學會亞洲區會議-- 2016 International Psychogeriatric Association Asian Regional Meeting, IPA-AR 2016】，將於2016年12月9日至11日假台大醫院國際會議中心（NTUH International Convention Center）舉辦。
本次會議將由2場Workshops、1場Keynote Lecture、5位Plenary Speakers、12場Symposiums及6場Oral Sessions所組成，議程內容涵蓋了Biological、Psychological、Social等層面的老年精神議題，12月9日（週五）上午由英國國際知名的大師 John O’Brien主持Imaging and Biomarkers Workshop。另為了提升老年精神專科醫師之臨床診療能力，本會特別邀請美國 Saint Louis University 的Prof. George Grossberg來主持下午的Clinical Workshop - Clinical Challenges in Geriatric Psychiatry，裡面會提到特別困難的個案以及臨床處置遇到的挑戰。1場Keynote Lecture由前國際老年精神醫學會理事長Henry Brodaty，演講關於 Integrated Care and Safety Issues in the Aging Mental Health。5位Plenary Speakers，則包括來自香港中文大學Helen Chiu教授（演講：Suicide Prevention）、日本神經精神醫學會理事長Masatoshi Takeda教授（演講：Biomarkers and Drug Development against Alzheimer’s disease）、英國劍橋大學的John O’Brien 教授 （演講：The Association Between Vascular Factors and Cognitive Impairment and Depression），美國的Martha Sajatovic教授（演講：Old Age Bipolar Disorder），長庚的林昆儒教授（演講：Molecular Imaging for Dementia and Depression）等，議程內容非常豐富。
