由國際老年精神醫學會(International Psychogeriatric Association, IPA)所授權台灣老年精神醫學會(Taiwanese Society of Geriatric Psychiatry)主辦之【2016國際老年精神醫學會亞洲區會議(2016 International Psychogeriatric Association Asian Regional Meeting, IPA-AR 2016)】，將於2016年12月9日至11日假台大醫院國際會議中心(NTUH International Convention Center)舉辦。
本次會議將由2場Workshop、1場Keynote Lecture、5位Plenary Speaker、12場Symposium及6場Oral Session所組成，議程內容涵蓋了Biological、Psychological、Social等層面的老年精神議題，12月9日(週五)上午的Workshop是很有名的Imaging and Biomarkers Workshop，由英國國際知名的大師 John O’Brien主持。為了提升臨床診療能力，特別邀請美國 Saint Louis University 的Prof. George Grossberg來主持下午的Clinical Workshop - Clinical Challenges in Geriatric Psychiatry，裡面會提到特別困難的個案以及臨床處置遇到的挑戰。六個Plenary Speech，則包括來自澳洲的前國際老年精神醫學會理事長Henry Brodaty (演講：Integrated Care and Safety in the Aging Mental Health)、香港中文大學Helen Chiu教授 (演講：Suicide Prevention)、日本神經精神醫學會理事長 Masatoshi Takeda 教授(演講：Biomarkers and Drug Development against Alzheimer’s disease)、英國劍橋大學的John O’Brien 教授 (演講：Vascular Cognitive Impairment or DLB), 美國的Martha Sajatovic教授 (演講：Old Age Bipolar Disorder)，長庚的林昆儒教授（演講： Neuroimaging Studies in Geriatric Mental Illness）等，議程內容非常豐富。
